Nature of the Service

This is a private reference site with no authority over the Alpena County Sheriff, Alpena courts, MDOC, or any federal custodian. It stores no official inmate or release records. We cannot confirm custody, release a person, post bond, or file a public-record request or court document for a visitor.

The site points readers toward Alpena County jail and court resources, state and federal custody locators, and Michigan public-record routes such as the Michigan Freedom of Information Act, MCL 15.231 et seq. Some features connect visitors with independent research tools.

Acceptable Use Rules

You may use the site only in a lawful way that respects other people and the operation of the service. You agree that you will not:

• Use information to stalk, harass, threaten, or harm anyone.

Alpena County Released Inmates is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. We do not provide background checks, credit reports, consumer reports, or screening services, and neither do our advertising partners through this site. You agree not to use any site content or linked result for:

• A decision to hire, retain, promote, or dismiss a worker.
• Housing, lease, or tenant screening.
• Creditworthiness, lending, or insurance pricing.
• A license, permit, or government-program eligibility decision.
• Any other purpose governed by the FCRA.

Outside Resources and Services

Links may lead to Alpena release records, Sheriff and MDOC pages, court portals, legal-aid resources, federal locators, or independent search services. Unless a separate notice says otherwise, this site’s original text, graphics, logos, and code belong to Alpena County Released Inmates or its content partners. You may not copy, republish, distribute, alter, or create derivative works from those materials without written permission.
